Welcome
At Seedlings Counselling we strive to help children, youth and families overcome life's challenges by offering professional counselling services specific to each individual's needs. We take time to get to know you and understand your unique needs and concerns, in order to develop a customized counselling plan that will help you, your child and family flourish.
We're committed to nurturing your child's inner strengths, as well as those inherent to yourself as parent and to your family as a whole. Our person centered approach allows us to draw from a variety of effective counselling techniques and models - including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and expressive therapies - in order to gently guide you, your child, and family through an effective, evidence-based, and holistic process of healing and growth. Our history and experience - strongly rooted in the Vancouver counselling and educational communities - provides us unique insight into the challenges of child and family development in these settings, and enables us to approach your care from a place of deep connectedness to local context and resources.
We believe that a safe, respectul and caring relationship between counselor and client is cornerstone to achieving intended results and overall emotional wellbeing.
We look forward to supporting you, your child, and your family on this important counselling journey.
Warmly,
Kareen
